“ Gino “ to us, was a smart, handsome, loving, caring, fun loving kid.

He was 13 years old and Murdered.

See, we knew Gino, very well at that.  He used to be friends with my girls.  They went to school together.  He came to our house often.  He was respectful, courteous, and would have grown to be a very fine young man.

I remember seeing my girl’s reactions at 13 and 14 years old when we were told of Gino’s death.  What horror and devastation. It forever troubled the girls, especially my youngest.  She was very close to Gino.  They were best friends.  I remember Gino’s mother Jen.  I felt so overcome that I didn’t know what to say or do, so I just hugged and cried with her.

Over the years since coming back home, we lost track of Gino’s mother and family.

Then on March 19th of this year, the day before what would have been Jill-Lyn’s 21st birthday we tried searching as we always have.

Doing everything the same as always on the computer, Gino’s picture appeared.  We were in shock yet happy.  On the site it had a name of a detective and I called him.  He said he would reach Gino’s mom. And on March 20th, what would have been Jill’s 21st birthday, we received a phone call.

It was Jen, Gino’s mom.   We talked for a long time. We cried for a long

Time.  To have found each other and to be there for each other is a miracle in itself.  Jenna was elated to finally find her best friends mom.  To be able to ask so many

questions, to cry, to have that bond again.  To find out what has happened in the

Investigation.  To this date 2 have been arrested and convicted in Gino’s death.

There are still more arrest to be made.

Gino’s name and memories have never left our home, our minds, or our prayers.

He will forever remain in our hearts.

Gino’s mom started an organization called M.O.M.Y.

Mothers of Murdered Youths.  The web site link is on this site for those who would like to visit it.

We dedicate this page to Gino’s memory, to his mom, dad, family and friends.

It is our gift, our love.  May Gino, Jill-Lyn, and many others whose lives have

been taken by Murder, rest in peace, and  may Justice be served in the memories

of all.
